We’re sure you have questions, if the below doesn’t help, please do get in touch.

There’s no such thing as a stupid question!

  • There is one free visit to one Born or Made chapter.

  • The meet-ups brings like-minded local businesses, charities, not-for-profits, freelancers, solopreneurs, and young people together to connect and share skills, problems, solutions, referrals, advice, and support all over a snack and refreshment.

Each meeting a member has an opportunity to share their story to the group, building knowledge, understanding and most importantly what referal would be a good referal. The learning ensures we get to know the members on a deeper level and support their growth every step of the way.

Oh, and ultimately, the meetings are relaxed, fun, proactive and professional. There's laughter, but sometimes tears too, and that's OK, we're all on a journey together.

  • The meet-ups are between 1-1.5 hours long, held at the very beginning or late afternoon in a relaxed environment, often all sat around one huge table.

    Example Agenda/Structure as follows:

Let's begin. Grab a cuppa and chat with others.

45-60 second introduction from each member, including “your ‘wins’ and what I need/offer”

10-minute presentation from a member or a CPD guest speaker.

    Goodbye, hugs and 121s booked.

  • We invite a CPD speaker to the meet-ups quarterly. They are carefully considered and approached for their expertise and knowledge, whether that be commercial strategy advice or personal development, digital marketing, to SEO optimisation. The guests are there to share, not sell (although quite naturally, our guests do often get approached and commissioned following a presentation).

  • Elle Moss is a 99.99% extrovert and a lover of being surrounded by people; more importantly, Elle is an expert networker, often stating that she wouldn't have had a business if it wasn't for networking. With this in mind, Elle has run networking groups for the past 20 years. During the pandemic, Elle has a lean toward locality and community, working together to make a better future, and this is wholeheartedly what Born or Made has been created upon, bringing people together to support and grow together.

Elle also has a wide, global-reaching network, often bringing in expert speakers to inspire the members.

  • Born or Made launched in 2024, founded by Elle Moss, who strongly believes in community networking. The Born or Made members meet fortnightly and bring like-minded local businesses together to connect and share problems, solutions, referrals, advice, and support. What ties the members together is the fact that they were Born or Made within the area as this truly enables the chapters to flourish and brings revenue to the local economy. The first chapter (area) was Brixton, launched in March, with Herne Hill and Loughborough Junction launching in September 2024.

  • Our membership is diverse, from business owners to entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, freelancers, charity and not-for-profit leaders, employees, and students. We offer a range of services from photographers to PR communications, type makers, animators, packaging designers, space providers, solution providers, accountants, and many more.

The underpinning of our membership is a like-minded drive to grow together and bring business into the local economy.
